HMGS has established a network consisting of 8 gravimetric stations of 0 order, 56 gravimetric stations of 1st order and 87 stations of 2nd order.
Measurements of gravimetric variations have been conducted periodically. More specifically:
Furthermore, a number of 12.133 stations of 3rd order exists (appr. one point per 4 kilometers) with measurements for the period 1985 - 1995.
Only the value of absolute gravity is supplied.
HMGS has established a 1st order network consisting of 108 stations for measurement of magnetic variation (D). Measurements are conducted periodically (appr. 80 stations are measured each year).
Magnetic variation (D) can be supplied for each station and year of measurement. Also, the magnetic variation can be calculated (by linear interpolation) for any point with given geographic coordinates (longitude, latitude), date and year.
Maps of gravitational anomalies (both of bouguer and free air) have been produced in scales 1:250.000, 1:1.000.000 and 1:2.000.000 (reduction from 1:1.000.000).
More specifically, there are 31 mapsheets of 1:250.000 scale and 1 mapsheet of 1:1.000.000.
Maps of gravitational anomalies are supplied in paper. For raster (scanned) georeferenced format please contact HMGS.
